HEALTHCARE PROGRAM ELEMENTS
Our core Caremunication Program components adapt
to meet the unique needs of your organization.

Program Elements:
  • The Management Conference is a one-day, intensive introduction to the Caremunication  curriculum that prepares supervisory staff for effective mentoring, coaching and communication competency evaluation.

  • An Executive Briefing for top administrative and medical leadership addresses organizational and cultural issues surrounding clear, open communication.

  • Facilitator Training provides in-house educators with everything they need to be successful, including detailed, easy-to-follow Facilitator Guides and comprehensive Presentation Materials. Facilitators continue to be supported with individualized advice and coaching from Caremunication staff.

  • The Eight-Module Curriculum combines theory with practice in a highly interactive format. The series, designed to be delivered in two half-day sessions, starts with an Online Communication Skills Self Assessment to help staff individualize improvement goals. The comprehensive Program Workbook serves as a resource for handling communication issues after the initial classes.

  • Ongoing Support helps assure that new communication concepts and practices live and thrive in your organization:
    • A monthly Manager E-Newsletter includes mini-case studies for use with staff in departmental meetings.
    • Communication Tips-of-the-Week are distributed through in-house publications, email messages or an organization’s intranet.
    • Resource Content for your organization’s intranet provides just-in-time access to key communication skills.
    • Continuous support for managers is offered through conference calls, email correspondence and a mid-year Management Conference refresher.

Collectively, Caremunication program components provide an all-inclusive approach to making – then sustaining – definitive communication improvement in your hospital.
